Disney part 2

Let the fun begin!

Here’s a group of us waiting for the bus to take us to the Magic Kingdom.

Love the decorations on Mainstreet! So pretty.

First stop: Get Kaydin some ears!

I knew he wouldn’t wear them, he hates hats. But it’s kind of like a rite of passage. Every kid needs Mickey ears at least once in their life right?

At least others got to wear them…..

Later in the day I might have bribed him to wear them on the train.  I needed a few descent pictures  =)

The Cochran family met up with us – here are the boys and their chariots.

You might be wondering what is on the back of their shirts? Once again my clever Aunt Karen made these tags, you know just in case!

First ride of the day…..

Pirates of the Caribbean! Kaydin wasn’t a big fan of the dark parts. But he did great! And the best part – we walked right on! No line!

Then it was onto some magic carpets!

Then it’s an annoying world, I mean it’s a small world  =)

I love this picture – first Kaydin and Joshua are holding hands(weird cuz it wasn’t scary), and then because Jordon is squeezing in the background.

Then onto Prince Charming’s Carousel It was really full so I jumped on Kaydin’s horse.

We acquired a few more group members throughout the day. Here’s our 2 rows getting ready for the PhilharMagic show!

He really wanted to ride the race cars – last ride before I took him back to nap. I love that you can’t even see his head! And there’s Uncle Kyle right behind them.

Other rides Kaydin went on that I didn’t get pictures of was the jungle cruise, Dumbo(twice), Haunted Mansion, and the big train that goes around the entire park.

After Kaydin’s nap, it was time for dinner. Then a bunch of us went back to the Magic Kingdom for their “Magic hours” and to see the light parade and fireworks show.

I really thought Kaydin would enjoy the lights and fireworks, but that was not the case.

The parade was ok. We got there just before it started so we had a hard time finding a good place to watch it.

Buried in jackets with his head covered until they were over!Oh well the rest of us enjoyed the show!

This was the end of our day at the Magic Kingdom

 

 

The next day we hung out with Grandma at the hotel while Daddy went golfing with the boys.

Our last day at Disney before heading home(Kaydin’s actual birthday!) everyone gathered at the hotel restaurant for breakfast. Some had already headed to the airport that morning and couldn’t be with us. The rest were staying another couple of days, and they headed out to the parks after breakfast.

For breakfast, they put us outside in a little fenced in area(like the animals that we are haha). It was nice because the kids could play and run around if they wanted and weren’t bugging anyone else.

The breakfast rule this day was that you couldn’t sit with your entire family. We were supposed to inter-mix, which made it extra fun for the waiter  =)

And that’s where the story ends for us. We had to load up the car, went home with almost as much stuff and we had brought with us. We said our goodbye’s and hit the road. Not without stopping for a 7eleven slurpee while getting gas, and then some Chipotle for lunch. Yummmmm.  

It was so wonderful to see everyone! We had a great and exhausting time. It took us the rest of the week to recover from this vacation, but it was worth it  =)
