Oh BOY!!!

So we went to the Dr. yesterday to have the ultrasound and find out what we are having. All of my family insisted it would be a boy, so I kept saying no it's a girl just to contradict them :) My worst fear was not being able to find out at all! I had heard stories that if the baby is not in a good position, then they can't see and you are SOL. I was also a little weary because the first ultrasound technician was not very informative at all. She took a couple pictures and said everything looked good and that was it. Well, this time it was much better! The lady was really nice and pointed things out like the kidneys, parts of the brain, and she was looking at all different angles. Then she asked us if we wanted to know the sex and we said yes! It took a little time but she eventually said "It's a boy!" She somehow got a really good picture of the 'goods' too.

It's a Boy!!


The other pictures she gave us are not as clear as the first ones we got. And they are kinda creepy looking because he's looking right at you!



The big round thing is the head, and the two dark circles are the eyes. The rest of his body is on the right side. You can kind of see the 'goods' on the far right also. The lady even typed "hi mom and dad" at the bottom of the pic for us :)

And here are his little feet! I thought this was the cutest thing ever.

So now the clock is really ticking down. I'm at 20 weeks, 20 more to go hopefully!! Now that we know it's a boy, we've been shopping and getting a lot of the stuff we'll need. We are really working on the biggest thing which is our own place to live. The other stuff will come with time. We do have a name picked out for the little guy, but we are not sharing just yet. All in good time.
