A wonderful day for a picnic

Last Sunday was the annual Discount Tire Company Family picnic. This year it was extra special to us because Kaydin could finally enjoy many of the activities at the picnic. Last year he was 5 months old so he just hung out in the shade most of the day. This year he ran around wherever he pleased, got to ride a pony, feed some goats, go on a train ride, and much more! By far his favorite was feeding the goats. He was a pro!

One of the few pictures I got of him wearing his tshirt. Can we get some shirts to fit the little kids please?

Kaydin wasn’t too sure about the bounce house. I think the noise of the fan thingy scared him, but we got some pictures at least!

This is the train they had that went around the entire farm – probably a 15 minute ride or so. It was really neat and very scenic.

 

Now onto the animals! Our kid has no fear when it comes to petting any animal.

He got mad when we were feeding the goats and not him!

Daddy showed him how to pick grass and feed the goats the grass-

 

Then we moved on to the pony ride! I wasn’t sure how he would do but I think he liked it!(lets put it this way, he didn’t cry!)

I picked one of the littler ponies for him :)

He did great!

After all the animal fun, we took another ride on the train. Mostly to rest and cool down. Then we went to get one of Kaydin’s favorite snacks -

POPCORN – he was in heaven!

We loved watching Kaydin experience all of these fun new things. Can’t wait for next year, it will be even better!
