One of Michael’s coworkers has been bugging us for months to bring Kaydin over to see their miniature horses. Every time we made plans to go, something came up or the weather intervened. Last night we finally made it over to see them!
The family lives just down the road, and they have 2 miniature horses: Shadow and Scout. They were the cutest little horsies ever! And Kaydin couldn’t get enough of them. He kept feeding them grass/weeds/whatever he could grab. It was really cute :) He was pretty fearless feeding them and putting his hands up to their mouths. I was afraid Shadow would accidently bite him! Luckily he’s still got all his fingers so he did good.
Once Shadow was done eating, they got Scout saddled up for a ride!
I wasn’t worried about Kaydin riding the horse because he rode a pony at the picnic last month. He really liked it! He didn’t want to wear the cool cowboy hat though :(

Then they started pulling out all their fun toys for Kaydin. Kyle took him for his first ride on a mini dirt bike.
Then came the chariot! Is that not the coolest thing you’ve ever seen? A chariot for miniature horses!

My hot and sweaty baby ready to head home. He had so much fun! We’ll have to make another trip soon, hopefully when it’s not so hot outside!
