Everyone asks me if Kaydin is excited about the baby coming, and my response is always the same - he doesn’t really understand what is going to happen. He knows there’s a baby in mommy’s belly, and that it’s almost time for her to come out. I don’t think he will really understand until she’s born and comes home with us and doesn’t leave =)
Since Kaydin hasn’t been around too many(or any) babies in his 3 1/2 years of life, I decided to sign him up for a sibling class at the hospital to prepare him for his baby sister! It was a 2 hour class for parents and children, mostly focused on how they can help take care of the baby. We watched a silly video, then got our own baby doll to practice diapering, swaddling, feeding, and burping. It was so cute to watch!

Overall I think Kaydin learned a lot and enjoyed the class. Now we just wait until our little baby decides to join us!!
