So much happening

It sure has felt crazy around here! We had some visitors for a while, Grandma Smiley(as Kaydin calls them) and Aunt Karen came to see us.

There have been a lot of firsts – mostly for Kamryn, but also for Kaydin!

Michael took Kaydin to his first Monster Truck Jam. This kid has loved monster trucks since I can remember. He must have 50 toy monster trucks!

We wanted to wait until he would understand what was going on and enjoy the show. Even now at 4yrs old, he cried because of how loud the trucks were. But he wants to go again!

This was his favorite part of the whole show……

The dinosaur that ate the red car!

He talked about seeing the monster trucks for days afterwards. Now he builds his own monster truck race tracks and crashes his trucks on race cars. My favorite is when he announces the truck – in his perfect announcer voice, just like they did at the show. It’s pretty funny

Kamryn has been a busy little girl! Month 7 has been the most growth and development so far.

7 months old!

She is growing teeth left and right it seems – first were the 2 bottom teeth

Right behind them were the top 2 front teeth

Now she’s working on #5 next to the top 2 teeth

After 7 months of sleeping on her back, she’s now on the move in her crib!

She has mastered sitting up by herself!

Which means bath time can be a lot more fun now.

She started getting on her hands and knees and rocking back and forth. Preparing to crawl!

So when Grandma came to visit for a couple weeks, she was determined to get Kamryn crawling!

But unfortunately Kamryn was more interested in standing and did not crawl before grandma left.

One thing grandma DID succeed in was getting our girl to eat vegetables! I could not get her to eat more than a few bites of any vegetable. Grandma worked her magic and now she eats like a champ!

One day last week it was finally warm enough to enjoy the outdoors!

So that’s what is happening around here. I know it’s a lot to catch up on, and I hope I got everything!
